For a long time, I didn’t know anything was wrong. Not really. I just thought this was how things were. How I was.
Then one day in 2019, out of nowhere, it was like the blinders came off. All at once I could see it. Something wasn’t right, and it hadn’t been for a while.
There was no build-up. No slow realizing. It just landed, all at once.
The strange part was how obvious it seemed afterward. Things I’d shrugged off for years suddenly made sense in a way they never had. It wasn’t a good feeling, but it was a clear one.
I think a lot of people live in that “this is just how I am” place for a long time. I did. You get used to carrying something until you forget you’re carrying it.
If something in you has been quietly saying “this isn’t right,” you don’t have to have it all figured out. Noticing is a real first step.
And if it’s more than a bad day, If it’s bad right now has people you can reach tonight.
I’ll send the next one. You can leave whenever you want.
